Course Description:

Precision Machining Technology is a hands-on course designed to prepare students for careers in manufacturing, machining, and related technical fields. Students will learn to safely operate manual and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, interpret engineering drawings, and apply precision measurement techniques. Instruction includes blueprint reading, G&M code programming, machining theory, shop math, material properties, tool selection, and quality control. Emphasis will be placed on industry safety standards, problem-solving, and producing parts to exact tolerances.
